Happy Birthday to Jesus!
Yummy!
It's Christmas Eve. It's hard to believe it's here already. My kids have been filled with excitement and anticipation all day. (sheer madness!) Tonight K was going to be in a Christmas play at church and he was so excited. (He didn't have any lines):) But, this morning he woke up and was coughing quite a bit. We waited until about 3:30pm and made the decision that he wasn't well enough to be around other children so, unfortunately we stayed home. He isn't necessarily sick, just coughing. A couple of weeks ago, A had a cold and I think she passed it to him.
A couple of years ago, we started a tradition of making homemade pizza on Christmas Eve. Since we usually have Christmas here and I make the Christmas Dinner, it's a fun way to celebrate without too much work. I let everybody pick their favorite toppings and they get their own section of pizza. It's alot of fun! The rest of the evening before bedtime was spent dancing to Christmas music, playing, and reading stories. We also lit our 4th advent candle. Tomorrow we will light all of the candles along with the white Christ candle.
Now, Kent is sitting here putting together the kitchen we got A for Christmas. He says it's a pain. Better him than me. (Love ya, honey!) I don't think it is as easy as it looks. Here are some
I pray you all have a blessed Christmas with your families and friends!
