Good Food Friday on Monday!

Sorry, I haven't posted in a few days. I was at a worship camp most of the weekend so, I didn't get a chance to post my Friday recipe but, here it is today. It's a good one and a favorite of kids and adults alike.

Granola Bark
1 C. old-fashioned oats
1 C. sliced almonds*
1/2 c. coconut flakes
1/4 c. wheat germ
2 Tbs. whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 C. Turbinado (raw) sugar
3 Tbs. butter
2 Tbsp. Honey
Heat oven to 325 degrees. In a bowl, mix together oats,
almonds, coconut, wheat germ, flour, and cinnamon.
In a small saucepan, combine turbinado sugar, butter,
and honey; bring to a boil and cook 30 seconds. Pour
over oat mixture and stir to combine. Spread on foil-
lined baking sheet and bake 20 minutes. Let cool
completely on baking sheet, then break into pieces.
Makes 12 Servings.
*You can also use sunflower seeds or any other nut you have
on hand.
If you break the pieces small enough, you can eat it for cereal; very yummy. We also sprinkle it over yogurt for a sweet treat! Enjoy!
