But, He said to me,
"My grace is sufficient for you,
For my power is made perfect in weakness."
Therefore, I will boast
All the more gladly of my weakness,
So that the power of Christ
May rest upon me.
I'll be the first to admit. Being weak is not easy. And often times, in the world it's not very popular either. I often try to look like I'm so strong and I've got it all under control when, honestly that's not the truth at all. On my own I fall flat on my face. Then, the Lord picks me up and dusts me off and I can almost hear him saying, "It's about time you let me help you up." Not that He would rub it in my face or anything :) I just think he's waiting for us to let Him do it instead of us. He wants me to admit that I'm weak so His power can rest upon me and He can get the glory. You think it would be alot easier to give the burden away then it would be to carry it, right? It can be difficult but, He said that His grace is sufficient, it's enough, it's all I could ever need or want, and then some. This verse brings me such encouragement. Christ wants us to be weak so He can be strong through us. So....weak is good.

I liked that you admitted to that.
