Can You Guess What Our New Pet Is?

*Before I begin this post, I wanted to say that this day brings back a ton of memories. 7 years ago today, a terrible tragedy happened that effected our entire country and I just wanted to take a minute to remember the many that were lost. I would also like to encourage you to take a moment and pray for those families who today are remembering their fathers, mothers, sisters, husbands, sons, daughters, wives, aunts, uncles, and dear friends. My heart goes out to them. My prayer is that The Lord would bring them comfort and that memories of the wonderful times with their loved ones would come flooding back to them.


We have a new pet. Yep. His name is Tom. K named him...or her. It was quite a spontaneous decision to get this pet but, so far things have been great. I'd like to play a little game with you if I may. I'd like to see who can guess what our new pet is. Sorry, I can't offer a prize because my current contest is offering a prize so, this one is just for fun. Are you with me? Ok, good.
I will give you a few clues...

• He is very low maintenance
• Is not a dog, cat, bunny, or even hamster
• He is currently eating oatmeal, grapes and carrots
• He is supposedly nocturnal but has been awake all day

Ok. Hopefully those clues will help you. Ya know what? If anyone actually gets it right...I'll send you a pair of earrings because I'm feelin' mighty generous. So, think good and hard and see what you come up with. You only have until tomorrow morning and then I will post the answer with his picture tomorrow afternoon. So, go to it!
