Well, we had a great vacation in Tupper Lake, NY in the Adirondack Mountains! There's so much to tell and many pictures to share so, I've decided to dedicate this week of posts to our vacation (lucky you). If you're interested, I'll be sharing our "ton" of pictures and tidbits from our fun week! We'll start with our hike up Mount Arab. K hiked the whole thing by himself and A took the scenic route in the backpack. Here's my two guys and A with her little head sticking out of the backpack...ready to go!
view from the top...breathtaking. Call me crazy, but the smell of the air was amazing. I couldn't stop breathing in as I was hiking to take in all of the smells. How could you not believe in God's creation when you view something like this?
picnicking atop the mountain. K had to take his shirt off because he was hot. :)
Here we are!

The hike was approximately 3 or 3 1/2 miles round trip so it was perfect for the kiddos. It was a great beginning to our vacation. K was proud of his accomplishment of climbing his first Mountain!
*Tomorrow...The Olympic Ski Jumping Complex in Lake Placid...fun!

How fun! Great exercise too!
K is getting to be so big. I can't believe he's hiking mountains. You are giving me inspiration that I won't be trapped in my house with my kids forever. I'm just not a home body.
And yes, mountain air is delightful! It is so fresh and clean and crisp!
Oh, it sounds like so much fun!!! Mountain air is wonderful - nothing better!!!
