Thankful Thinking...

I've been thinking alot lately about my responsibility as a mom. I am actually amazed that God has chosen me to take care of two of the most amazing little people on this earth. (yes, I am biased). In my younger years, responsibility was not a word in my vocabulary. I was too selfish and focused on other things to think about anything I needed to do. That's where the Grace of God comes in. I am now doing things as a mom I never thought I could do or even wanted to do growing up for that matter. I'm preparing meals, doing laundry, changing diapers, doing dishes...things I despised as a younger adult (mostly teen years). But, it's not just chores, it's wiping tears, runny noses, kissing boo-boos, singing songs, reading stories, laughing, tickling, painting, hugging, planting seeds for the years to come...those are things I never thought I would ever have the honor of doing; Things I absolutely love and look forward to doing. I'm thankful to God for the honor and privelege to be a mom and a wife. Though tiring and exausting at times, I wouldn't want it any other way.

*P.S. I've been getting comments on how people are enjoying the music on my site. To make your own playlist go to projectplaylist.com it is alot of fun!

Your kids feeling and knowing in their hearts that you love them is just as important as having their nose wiped or seeing dinner on the table.

I don't hear any clanging cymbals here!
