It has been awhile since I've posted. I actually have something worth the space to write. :) We just took our first family vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC. My step-brother owns a condo there and let us use it for 10 days! We had a great time!!! This was Kole and Ava's first time at the Ocean. Kole was ready to dive right in while Ava was a bit overwhelmed to say the least. She quickly adjusted after we gave her a bucket and pail and taught her how to dig!
Our days were filled with swimming at the pool, going to the beach, and visiting the aquarium. Our evenings were also fun-filled. We took the kids to play mini-golf for the first time- Kole had a blast. It wasn't just any mini-golf, it was Jurassic golf so, he was thrilled about that because dinosaurs are one of his favorite things! Kent also took Kole to see the movie "Ratatouille" on a father-son date. Kole will be quick to tell you it was "good but, it was a little scary in some parts." :) We also got to eat alot of ice cream which Kent and I loved just as much as the kids did. We were really blessed to have the opportunity to spend this time together as a family.
