Who says you can't leave birthday decorations up for 9 days after your actual birthday?
Probably the same person who says you have to wait to put your Christmas tree up on Christmas Eve and take it down the day after Christmas.
No offense intended to anyone who does this. :)

Of course you can leave your birthday decorations up as long as you like! It's so festive!
And I (ahem) just might still have a Christmas wreath on my front door...it's probably time to do something about that, though...
