Happy 2009!
Wow! Time flies when you're having fun...so they say! We left town to visit family the day after Christmas and were gone for 5 days so, we decided to bring in the New Year with some R&R. We decided to have a little family "party". I prepared some yummy snacks and we danced to salsa music, played games and played "Wii." And just to prove how old I am...I did not stay up until midnight. It used to be so easy to stay up past midnight, over the Holidays I actually did a couple of times but, I was way too tired to attempt that last night. Anyway, we all had fun and the kiddos kept shouting "Happy New Year!" even though they weren't exactly sure what it meant!

We didn't stay up until midnight either. We watched a stupid movie (Get Smart) listened to some music, and then went to bed. We watched a little bit of the festivities in Times Square, but shut it off before the ball drop. And I had the best time! It sounds like you had a fun time, too! Happy New Year to you and your family :)
