Long time...

  • Lots going on.
  • Little miss "A" turned 3 and I have pics but, they are not on my computer yet.
  • I've been up to my eyeballs in laundry, packing, and baking goodies for our trip to Boston, we leave on Saturday morning.
  • We will be spending a week trying to secure a place for us to live when we move there in August. It is a bit exciting and scary all at the same time. I think I'm going to be in for some serious "sticker-shock" when we go apartment hunting. One thing that always encourages me is that God knows the cost of living there and that's where he's decided to send us. Why would he send us and leave us stranded? He wouldn't. That's my God-he's pretty faithful like that. Always has been. Not that it's been a cake-walk but, He's just always there, holding our hands, helping us along.
  • I'm trying to pack for 8 days away, make muffins to take for breakfasts, other little goodies for snacks, and also preparing to have potential Launch Team members come over tomorrow night.
  • "A" still has the same "little miss thing" attitude she had when she was 2. I thought (and prayed) for it to go away but, alas- it did not. She's still my precious little peanut...just a handful at times. She's gonna make a great leader someday! :)
  • "K" has started playing T-ball and is quite awesome. (all parents are biased) :) He's quite the little hitter. The problem has been the rain. 2 or 3 practices have been cancelled due to rain. He is scheduled to have a game tonight...hopefully. It is so fun to watch the little guys and girls run around- they are so proud of themselves...I love it.
  • I started running the other day. Yesterday, I was wicked sore (practicing my New England lingo) but, still woke up today determined to run again but, it was pouring rain. I decided to pop in a workout DVD instead. I'm afraid if I don't do something, It will be easy for me to not do anything and I don't want to do that.
  • We received a purchase offer for our home...and accepted. It was totally The Lord that it all worked out, without even putting our house on the market- exciting stuff!
  • Having a yard sale Memorial day weekend. Trying to sort through all of our stuff (junk) that we want to get rid of. If you're in the area- stop by.

Hmm...I think that's all for now. Just trying to keep y'all updated with our life. It seems like updates are all I really have time for these days. Stay tuned for a little bit of a blog revamping. I plan on changing my URL soon and the overall theme of the blog. I'll keep you posted.

My husband and I have moved across the country twice since we've been married (we've only been married 2 1/2 years) and the Lord has always taken care of us. We are thankful for all the help we've had along the way by way of friends loading/unloading and our families always being supportive of our decisions. It's amazing how it always works out if we just trust that the Lord will provide and work our butts off at the same time. :)
